Shija hospital joins Tika Utsav

Shija hospital and Shree Digambar Jain Samaj organised a one day special vaccination camp at Jain Mandir campus, Paona Bazar as a part of the four days vaccination festival or 'Tika Utsav' launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The aim of the festival is to inoculate a maximum number of eligible people against the deadly viral disease.
A total of 248 including 60 people who are above 60 years and 188 who are between 45-59 years old were vaccinated during the camp. The camp was inaugurated by DC - Imphal West, Naorem Praveen Singh. A dedicated team from Shija Hospitals was led by  Sangita Thangjam, Consultant Microbiologist and Nodal Officer, Shija Hospitals, said a statement issued by Shija hospital.
The camp kicked-off at 10:30 AM and concluded at 7:00 PM. No adverse event was reported during the camp. Jain community expressed their gratefulness to Shija hospital for successfully organizing the camp. Second dose of the vaccine will be given at the same site according to schedule.
Shija hospital informed that persons who are above 45 years can take the vaccine at Shija Hospitals between 10 AM to 3 PM on all days except Sunday. Eligible citizens who are interested may visit the hospital or call 9402641670 or 8448645646 for further details.
