MOREH, Apr 13 : State police and Assam Rifles stopped about 50 Myanmar Nationals attempting to enter the State through Border Pillar no 79, today, reports our correspondent.
It might be noted that the military junta has killed hundreds of supporters protesting for the restoration of democracy in the neighbouring country since the coup on February 1.
It is reported that these Myanmarese camped near Indo Myanmar border fencing on the Myanmar side. They, however, have vacated the area at the time of filing this report.
The Moreh police and the Assam Rifle have also reportedly tightened up the vigilance at the border areas.
