Man apprehended with brown sugar

Senapati , Apr 12: Acting on the information received from a reliable source about illegal transportation of drugs, Tadubi Police apprehended an individual in possession of brownish powder suspected to be brown sugar at around 1pm near Tadubi Police Station.
The accused driver and owner of Mahindra Xylo bearing registration No NL07C/1737 was later identified as one, M Khaiminlian Zou s/o Zamkhankap of Tongdam, Churachandpur district.
The Police on checking inside the vehicle detected 22 packets containing the consignment suspected to be brown sugar.
In this connection, a case was filed at Tadubi Police Station for further investigation.
