PWF calls for application

IMPHAL, Apr 13 : Paomee Welfare Foundation (PWF) has informed that bonafide journalists and retired journalists can submit applications to avail its Medical Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme for phase-2 for the year 2020-21.
Application can be submitted for availing assistance for treatment expenses incurred between October 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021, said a statement issued by PWF.
PWF's MFA scheme is an annual financial assistance offered in two phases in six months each. The MFA phase 1 was disbursed in October 2020 and the phase 2 of the scheme will be released by the end of this month, added the statement.
PWF was formed in 2017 to independently manage All Manipur Working Journalist Union's corpus funds of over Rs 85 lakh raised by way of a mega lottery organised in 2017.
The foundation offers one-time medical financial assistance to its retired and present members.
