IW Super Divn League NC Club beat CHIKL 3-1 for first win

IMPHAL, Apr 15 : NC Club, Khonghampat rode on a double by H Premchandra to beat CHIKL, Lilong Chajing by 3-1 goals for the first win in the S Birendra Singh Memorial Super Division Football League which is underway at Chajing Awang Leikai ground.
NC Club which suffered a 0-2 loss to PAMYAL, Patsoi in their tourney opener, had a dominating start and went ahead in the 8th minute thanks to H Premchandra. The lead was however cancelled out two minutes later as N Leingakpa managed to convert his effort well.
And despite numerous attempts, CHIKL and NC Club had to enter into the break with scores levelled at 1-1.
After the restart, NC Club were seen taking charge of the possession and troubling CHIKL defence for a while until H Premchandra stepped up for his second in the 51st minute.
CHIKL toiled hard to come back into the game but their comeback hopes vanished with N Boinao scoring in the 70th minute to push NC Club far beyond their reach.
YWC, Langthabal will take on YDO, Kwakeithel Lamdong in the next match tomorrow at 2 pm.
