Kangpokpi District Badminton Association finish second in HDBAM Tourney

KANGPOKPI, Apr  16: With eleven gold and nine silver medals, the Kangpokpi District Badminton Association bagged the second position in the 18th Hill Districts Badminton Association Manipur tournament which was held in Ukhrul from April 10 to 14.
The reception of the Kangpokpi District Badminton Association was held at the residence of Lunsieh Kipgen, IPS at N Lambulane, Imphal yesterday.
 During the said tournament, A Hmangte and Lim Khongsai (45+ men's doubles); SR Koireng and CT Vaiphei (40+ men's doubles); SR Koireng (40+ men's singles); Andrew (men's open singles); Chong and Andrew (mixed doubles-XD); Andrew (U-19 men's singles); Mosang and Gogou (U-19 men's doubles); Hoichong (40+ women's singles); Hoichong and Hatbem (35+ women's doubles) and Kikim (U-15 girl's singles and U-11 girl's singles) earned gold medals for the Kangpokpi District Badminton Association in their respective categories.
The silver medals, on the other hand were bagged by Haopu (55+ men's singles); Reco (35+ men's singles); CT Vaiphei and SR Koireng (35+ men's doubles); Seiboi and Macnus (men's open doubles); Hatbem (40+ women's singles); Nengcha (35+ women's singles); Nengcha and Kim Koireng (35+ women's doubles); Hohoi (U-11 girl's singles) and Kikim and Hohoi (U-15 girl's doubles).
