IMPHAL, Apr 1 : The 9th State Level Kangleipak Cheibi Yendamnaba for mini and sub junior boys and girls jointly organised by  All Manipur Cheibi Association and Gem Public School, Pourabi under the sponsorship of Kangleipak Students Association (KSA) ended on March 30 at Pourabi Ibudhou Puthiba Community Hall, Imphal East.
In the boys 55 kgs event of the championship, Salin of Gem Public School and Gunachandra of Lamlai bagged gold and silver medals respectively while Sanatomba and Rocky of Gem Public School jointly won the third place. The girls event of the same weight category saw Manorama of EEA-A clinching gold and Monica of EEA-B securing silver medal. The third place of this category was also shared between Bidyalaxmi of Gem Public School and Pratima of EEA-B.
The other gold medallists of the championship are  Amuthoi of Lamlai (boys 45 to 55 kg event); M Monalisa of Lamlai (girls 45 to 55 kg event); Shrinivash representing MEEHULS (boys 30 to 40 kg event); Milinious of Lamlai (girls 30 to 40 kg event); N Renivash of MIISIKHOL-A (boys 25 to 30 kg event); L Pratimala of MIPCA (girls 25 to 30 kg event); Mongjamba of Lamlai (boys 20 to 25 kg event) and K Arti representing YTLL (girls 20 to 25 kg).
The opening ceremony of the championship held on March 28 was graced by Khundrakpam AC MLA, Th Lokeshwar; Kshetrimayum Somendro, vice president of United Committee Manipur (UCM); Okram Manglem, president All Manipur Cheibi Association and actress Tonthoi Leisangthem (National awardee) among others while the valedictory function conducted on March 30 was attended by K Ronen, president of Pourabi Yaipha Naharol Kanglup; Prof N Sunindro of Education U; Wahengbam Sanahanba, retd Subedar Major of Indian Army, Okram Manglem etc.
