DUC down WYFC 3-1 in Thoubal Super Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Apr 6 : DUC, Charangpat triumphed 3-1 over WYFC, Wangjing as SWYC, Charangpat played out a 2-2 draw against RPU, Papal in today's matches of the Lambamayum Memcha Devi Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament 2021 at Kodompokpi Sports Complex in Wangjing.
In tourney's second match, DUC rode on M Jolly's treble to tear apart WYFA defence and sealed a 3-1 victory.
M Jolly opened up the scoring in the 11th minute and doubled his team's advantage by scoring another in the 45th minute.
WYFC managed to pull back a goal as L Raju converted a fine chance in the 62nd minute to make it 2-1 by M Jolly who was yearning for more goals had his way deep to score his third and completed the 3-1 dumping of the Wangjing team.
Meanwhile in another fixture of the day, K Juremba of SWYC and W Lanchenba of RPU respectively scored two goals each to ensure SWYC and RPU play out a 2-2 draw.
