Kak Super Divn League SWC edge 2-1 past JA as SAO hold UBSA

IMPHAL, Apr 6 : SWC, Keirak rode on a late brace by L Avinash to pip JA 2-1 and SAO held UBSA to a 1-1 draw in today's final league round matches of the 19th Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League 2021 being organised by DSA Kakching at DSA playground.
In the 17th match of the tournament and today's first, JA made a promising start with H Oliver Singh scoring the opener early in the 8th minute.
JA however failed to penetrate SWC's defence in the latter part of the game and to their disappointment, L Avinash drew level for SWC in the 55th minute before completing the turnaround in the 59th minute.
The three goals however marked the match and eventually SWC earned all three points.
In the second match of the day, Ngamneiril handed UBSA a 1-0 lead till the break with his strike in the 41st minute and the team had almost walked home with all three points but M Marjit helped SAO salvage a point by scoring the equaliser deep (90'+5') into the stoppage time.
JA, Kakching will play UBSA, Mantak in the next match on April 8 at 2.05 pm.
