IE Super Divn League XI Star SU play out goalless draw with PYA

IMPHAL, Apr 7 : XI Star SU, Akampat and PYA, Kairang played out a goalless draw today  in the ongoing Maharaj Kumar Ghanendrajit Super Division Football League Tournament organised by Imphal East District Football Association.
Playing in front of their own supporters at its home turf, XI-Star could not make the best use of their chances and had to settle the game in a goalless draw.
PYA which also had some scoring chances had to see their attempts either went wide or being deterred by XI-Star SU defence before further penetration.
SAK, Yumnam Khunou will play UPAA, Kiyamgei in the next match tomorrow.
Meanwhile in the Moirangthem Ibobi Memorial First Division Football League which is also underway at the XI Star SU ground, Angtha FC sealed a 2-1 win against KSDC, Khomidok.
Athijiio broke the deadlock early in the 6th minute  and Keishi struck the other goal in the 56th minute for the Angtha team which looked to dominate both the possession and scoring chances on both halves of this  Group B league encounter as Nawash struck the lone goal for the Khomidok team.
CSC, Chanung will face DOAK, Andro in a Group A league match tomorrow.
