YMDO clinch Hemchandra Memorial Volleyball tourney title

IMPHAL, Apr 8 : YMDO, Heirangoithong carved out a 3-2 win against TRYVC, Ukhrul to lift the title of the 1st Thingnam Hemchandra Singh Memorial Men's Open Volleyball Tournament organised at Narankonjin Mayai Leikai.
YMDO fought back twice in this nip and tuck final encounter to beat spirited TRYVC 28-26, 22-25, 25-20, 18-25, 15-13 and secured the top honour.
L Santosh of TRYVC, Ukhrul was adjudged  best spiker of the tournament while Joyson of YMDO was named best setter.
Best discipline team award on the other hand went to NYVA, Naorem.
