Stage set for semis of L Shanta Memorial Veteran Volleyball tourney

IMPHAL, Apr 9 : The semi-final line up of the 1st L Shanta Singh Memorial State Level Veteran's Volleyball Tournament-2021 has been completed today.
WMC, Moidangpok will take on HVA, Heirok in the first semi final match of this tournament organised by Volleyball Development Committee at Yairipok Shiphai Leikai before the hosts, VDC play MLV, Mayai Lambi for the remaining final ticket.
In today's league matches, VDC, Yairipok beat HVA-Heirok by 3-1 sets to finish group A winners before WMC, Moidangpok Khunou thumped MRC 3-0.
VDC started woefully and conceded the first set to HVA but made an impressive return in the remaining sets to finish off the game 18-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-13.
Later, WMC ended MRC's campaign with a 25-15, 25-18, 25-19 thrashing.
