Bishnupur Dist Wushu Assn pays homage to late Master Bharat

IMPHAL, May 25
The Bishnupur District Wushu Association has condoled the sudden demise of its former vice president Master Kh Bharat Singh on May 24.
A condolence meeting was convened today in the presence of wushu players of the district and association office bearers to pay respect to Kh Bharat, said a statement of the district association.
All present recalled his contributions towards development of 'wushu' discipline in the district during the meeting.
Master Bharat (55) from Loktak Project, Shantipur was instrumental in organising many tournaments in the district and helped produce many international players from the district, it said.
All present observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul, it continued.
