Media persons recognised as frontline workers in Meghalaya

Shillong, May 27: The state government of Meghalaya has officially announced its decision to recognize media persons as Covid-19 frontline workers.
“I want to place on record that the state government has decided to recognize media persons as frontline workers of the state,” Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong informed after a review meeting held on Thursday.
“We are thankful to all media persons and we are so proud of you for your contribution,” he said.
