Reduce rents of students by 50%: AMMSO

IMPHAL, May 7
Landlord should reduced 50% rent for students and micro finance should stopped collection of dues from loanee during this hard times.
All Manipur Muslim Students' Organisation (AMMSO) said this in a statement issued today and said the public have been put into heavy burden due to the second wave of the pandemic and restrictions imposed by the Government to curb the spread of the virus. The landlord should ensure that the students and their parents are not put into further trouble and reduced the rent by 50%, urged AMMSO in a statement issued today.
Other local organisations including Top Chingtha Youth Progressive Organisation (TYPO), Northern Development Youth Club (NDYC) and Peace Humanity and Social Development Club (PHASD) appealed the public and mirco finances to stop collection of dues and banned all forms of lottery in their localities in light of the second wave of the pandemic which has hit the state hard.
