Internal bliss, we only have heard about it.
But that lies on our mother's lap.
So,I sat next to her on the couch.
Had the urge to lay my head on her lap
That instantly brought about fondful memories.
The love she pours in is like a sweet amber flood of maple syrup.
She is warm when she laughs, one feels to join in,
Borrow the glint in her eyes, share in the joy
That is young and effluent.
She claims, she could do anything for me,
Claims  her support is unwavering.
She would quite literally travel to the end
Of the Earth to make me happy.
She is what,we who adore her revolve around
Awed and replenished by her wholly radiant love.
Just as the shepherd bore a rod and staff,
She bears her own weapon,
Weapon of empathy and love
Her beauty looks so familiar.
Don't I know her from somewhere?
The way she carry herself,
Unafraid of any storm bearing leaves,
Shielding them with her thorns.
The perfume she wears on her petals
And the roots that help her grow,
Remind me of someone special
Just like the woman I know.
She is known as a mother,My Mother!
