DLSA Imphal East organises awareness programme

IMPHAL, Jun 21
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Imphal East under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) organized an Interaction Programme cum Legal Awareness Programme on the topic 'Coping with Challenges Posed by Covid-19 Pandemic' today.
A press release by DLSA said that the programme was conducted via JITSI Meet application with children staying in children homes namely Chanura Leikol Children Home, Lairembi Shanglen Children Home for Girls, Gulamchat Open Shelter Home for Boys and Gulamchat Children Home for Mentally Ill Girls.
The programme was attended by RK Memcha, District & Sessions Judge of Imphal East and Chairman of DLSA, Imphal East, N Lanleima, Chief Judicial Magistrate of Imphal East and Secretary of DLSA, Imphal East, Shubham Vashist, Judicial Magistrate First Class of Jiribam, Dr Nongmeikapam Premika Devi Guest Faculty, Department of Psychology, Manipur University and child artist Anshala Phurailatpam.
Dr Nongmeikapam Premika Devi spoke as a resource person on the topics “Coping with Challenges Posed by Covid-19 Pandemic” and Anshala Phurailatpam provided entertainment through her songs. An interaction session was also held between the Chairman and Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Imphal East, resource persons and participants.
