Sheikh Noorul Hassan joins NPP

IMPHAL, Jun 22: Sheikh Noorul Hassan, intending candidate from Kshetrigao AC in the upcoming 2022 General Election has joined National People's Party.
After a special meeting with Conrad K Sangma, National President, NPP, Sheikh Noorul Hassan had joined the party officially and this was confirmed in a written statement issued by NPP State President N Kayisii. Sheikh Noorul Hassan has also been appointed as General Secretary (organisation) of NPP Manipur State.
Speaking to this correspondent, Sheikh Noorul Hassan said he is grateful for being appointed as General Secretary of NPP and he will work towards development of the indigenous people of the North East and the minority communities. He also assured that he will work to strengthen the party's position and will contest the 2022 election from maximum seats.
