CS Ops on Covid positive moms

IMPHAL, Jun 22 : Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, RIMS conducted Cesarean Section deliveries on 4 COVID-19 positive mothers within a span of 12 hours yesterday.
The surgeries were conducted by a team of doctors led by Dr Manjushree, Senior Resident; PG pass outs Dr Pavithra and Dr Florence and PG student Dr Dhivya Bharathi assisted by a team from Anaesthesiology Department led by Dr V Vasantharajan and Dr Brati Mukhopadhyay, said a statement issued by RIMS today.
Two surgeries out of the 4 were difficult ones due to presence of some medical conditions on the mothers, however, the surgeries were successfully conducted with major contribution from OT Staffs, added the statement.
