Drug peddler held in Churachandpur

CHURACHANDPUR, Jun 22 Churachandpur Police seized 168 grams (including the weight of the plastic cover) of suspected Heroin from the resident of one Vungthangching Paite (26) @ Chiching, w/o Lamjoylian of Khominthang village in New Lamka.
Acting on a specific information regarding some narcotics being kept at the residence of the apprehended person for transportation to Shillong, two teams of Churachandpur Police Station identified the house and conducted a search wherein 12 soap cases containing the suspected Heroin powder were found.
An FIR has been filed at Churachandpur Police Station regarding the matter.
