Evaluation strategy by Jun 15 : CBSE

The CBSE on Friday constituted a committee to decide well-defined objective criteria for the evaluation of Class 12 students. The committee will submit its report within 10 days.
After CBSE, CISCE, today Karnataka Government has cancelled II PU exams. Many States like Gujarat, Maharashtra scrapped the Class 12 board exams on Thursday. The Union Government announced the cancellation of the CBSE and CISCE class 12 exams on June 1. Following the Centre’s decision, more States called off their board exams, a few others said they will take a call soon.
Rajasthan, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand have cancelled the Class 12 board exams. Others including Assam, Telangana and Punjab are yet to announce the final decision.
NIOS cancels Class 12 examination
'Keeping the safety and security of our students on priority, NIOS cancels class 12 examinations. Students will be evaluated based on objective criteria to be announced soon. This will benefit around 1.75 Lakhs students.' an official statement reads.
