A smile that speaks

A good smile is a medicine but yes, if you smile out of time then you need medicine. So, practically if you want impossible things to happen then you have to use the possible things in the impossible ways. “Smiling after failing an exam ?” seriously ? That’s impossible but if you possibly use that possible smile-maybe that impossible blissfulness that you thought will never come might garland you. Smiling is just a simple gesture that has the potential to blanket crazy flames.
Happiness is a virtue of the strong, it's so easy to crib, crumble and cry during hard times and difficult to stay calm and happy during the hard times. It takes courage to think positive when the whole world is against you, when the circumstances are unfair and life is rude to you. This is when the stakes are high and you have put your everything and you do not know the consequences-still believing in life and its myriad ways and trusting that somewhere, someday this is all going to work is the way of courageous people.
This time in our life is limited, the manufacturing date is set but the expiry date for everyone is different. It might be 90 years for someone and 9 days for the other. But honestly, it isn't how many years you survive but how much you lived in these years. It's not about the quantity but the quality of the days you spent.
Encouragement to others is something everyone can give. Somebody needs what you have to give. It may not be your money; it may be your time. It may be your listening ear. It may be your arms to encourage. It may be your smile to uplift. Who knows ? Of all-that smile-it's contagious. If a little more smile was there between the world leaders of our past, passports and visas might be just a concept for hollywood movies.
Listen, before you put on a frown, make absolutely sure there are no smiles available for you don’t want to regret later if you wanted the consequences to have favoured you. It only takes a split second to smile and forget, yet to someone that needed it, it can last a lifetime. For a smile can increase your face value, change obstacles to bridges, heal hearts and wounds. And listen, most importantly-if you have a dimple then you have a divine role in the universe : SMILE !
Holding each other's hand during hard times, makes it easier to sail through hard times. Looking into each other’s eyes and staring at the soul and letting it know that there is someone standing by you until death is a feeling better than having a million dollars. Smiling with each other, at each other and for each other during bad times is what makes a relationship strong.
Always remember to be happy because you never know who’s falling in love with your smile. It touches the world. I know writing flowery words about smiling won’t really make you change right about now or change the perspective about smiles that you had. Summarizing-try smiling for nothing for a day, you will understand how powerful the smile is.
I grew up in a hard core Meitei family, and I have heard people saying this a lot of times, “Madi Suknok Noktey, Thina Lemmey. Kaidei bor ga oiradi pakkani,” this explains a lot about why we Meitei pull each other down. Please try smiling, 50% problems in Manipur will end right there.
