Unclaimed body to be disposed

CHURACHANDPUR, Jul 24: The body of a non-local man believed to be about 50 years old that was found and picked from Old Bazar market shed, Zenhang Lamka on July 22 morning by the local police is likely to be disposed, if it remains unclaimed and unidentified by Monday.
The OC Churachandpur, N Thangzamuan has today sought permission from the District Magistrate to dispose of the unidentified and unclaimed dead body if no one comes forth by Monday.
The District Magistrate has accordingly given its approval for disposal at an appropriate time and date after conducting post-mortem.
The deceased male, according to the police, is about 8 feet 8 inches high.
He spots a reddish hair and is whitish in complexion.
He is suspected to have died due to some illness.
