You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy. And yes, wars are won by fighting and not by compromising. Are you going through something heavy in your life right now ? If so then, don’t just sit still and hope time will heal all in some months. Get up–fight, for war will only end when you defeat the other or you get defeated. I know life now for you might equate the definition of prison, but freedom is in mind. “I went to prison but I never let my mind to prison,” this is all the mindset.
I know at times in life, the sun goes down on you, you feel lost–but trust me, it’s okay–we all are little a lost too. In life–friends, money, relationships, people are snatched away from you by life itself. But life will never the snatch the choice of happiness from you. You have all the world’s freedom of choice in ticking for “yes, I am happy.”
Choices ! Yes, you heard me right–the freedom to choose. There might be people who have a lot more talent than you but there is no excuse for anyone to work harder than you. You still have the power of choices. Pick a new destination and start going towards it, you can change one little degree or revolutionize the whole thing. You have the choice to feel uncomfortable with the average, you need to feel allergic to average, you always have the choice to come to the end of yourself to push a little more further.
Today if you learn that, you have your choice on owning your perspective, life will be so different from this on. Everything you do will be nothing but trying to be better, then the world becomes your library, because you know what you want in life, 100% the world will start giving you what you need. Re-read that.
If you still live with the psychology that “you came empty to life and you have to go back empty,” trust me–life will arrange you for not more than being just a good manure when you die–and yeah please use a wooden coffin for helping the environment. Listen – you came empty doesn’t mean you have to leave an empty basket. Yeah you will walk away empty but not leave empty. You will be remembered by what you left to this world. If you think just because you can’t take away all that with you, you will be just a soil after you are gone ? Check the graveyard of the world leaders. Their soil became stories.
Even in the hardest of the hardest times, life will never have the order of taking away your freedom of choice. Even if the world tells you that you can’t do something, you will always have the choice to prove them wrong by working harder. When something is important enough, you do it even when the odds are not in your favour. You got to stop hanging people’s cloud of doubts over your head. You have to pray to your choices, it will only help you leave wonders to this world. For only those who can see the invisible can do the impossible.
You should always have the choice of being the king of your mind. For if your mind is defeated, victory is just a joke. If you can rule your mind, you can rule the world–choices are as strong as that. Never be afraid to take chances in choosing for it is the only way to change lives. Let me be honest to you, yes–to the one reading this article, you are not the first one to fail in UPSC, you are not the first one to get a divorce, you are not the first one to get fired from your dream job, and you won’t be the last too. So, listen–you have the choice for letting the pain define you or get better because of the pain.
