Fasting prayer held for Th Muivah

Ukhrul, Jul 27 : Tangkhul Churches under the aegis Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) today held a fasting prayer programme in their respective Churched  for speedy recovery of Thuingaleng Muivah, Ato Kilonser of the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) and who is also the chief negotiator of the Indo-Naga peace talk.
Muivah was hospitalised on July 24 after a complaint of mild fever and his oxygen level dipped.
He is now in stable condition is presently undergoing treatment at CIHSR, Dimapur
According to a statement of TBCA Executive Secretary Rev Dr. Mathotmi Vasha, all Tangkhul Churches affiliated to TBCA were informed to organise a fasting prayer on Tuesday for Avakharar Muivah for speedy recovery  to enable him resume his work further.
A prayer chain will also start from tomorrow.
TBCA appealed to Pastors of all Tangkhul Churches to partake in the chain prayer in the greater interest of the people.
It might be mentioned that members of Phungyo Baptist Church, Ukhrul the first established Church of Manipur, held a fasting prayer in their respective residential homes from 7 am as response to the call of TBCA.
The condition of Th Muivah remain is reported to be stable although he is still at CIHSR, Dimapur.
The peace talk between the NSCN (IM) and the Government of India started after the ceasefire pact was signed in 1997.
