M Paari of Lamyanba Gym wins Mr Yairipok 2021 title

THOUBAL, Sep 12 : Moirangthem Paari of Lamyanba Gym was crowned Mr Yairipok at the 8th Mr Yairipok Body Building Championship organised by Lamyanba Gym, Yairipok at Top-Chingtha Pukhri Achouba Mapal community hall under the aegis of Manipur Amateur Body Building Association.
In all, 18 athletes from different gyms competed in the young physique,  sub-junior, junior and senior  category competitions at the said championship.
In the young physique category, Khomdram Manao of Oriental Gym, Yairipok Bishnunaha bagged the top honour and his compatriots Chongtham Billgate and BM Salam emerged second and third.
Konjengbam Nilakash of Lamyanba Gym, Yairipok Top Chingtha clinched the sub-junior category title as Chongtham Billgate  of Oriental Gym and Arbin Thounaojam managed the 1st runner and 2nd runner spots.
Junior category title, on the other hand, went to Yaokhomba Sanabam of Lamyanba Gym while Khomdram Manao of Oriental Gym finished second and Jenish Moirangthem of Lamyanba Gym finished third. As Moirangthem Paari earned the senior title, Moirangthem Nanao and Md Anish were able to secure the second and third place titles.
The winners, second and third placed athletes in different categories of the body building championship were feted with trophies, medals and citations.
