JDU will win more than 15 seats: Ramprit Mandal

IMPHAL, Sep 19: Janata Dal-United (JDU) should win a good number of seats in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election and take greater part in the formation of  Government.
Lok Sabha MP and JDU Manipur in-charge Ramprit Mandal made the remark while speaking at the inaugural function of JDU district office  at Tera Khuraijam Leirak in Imphal West district on September 17 and appealed to the public to elect responsible candidates who will do their duty efficiently and selflessly. Under the leadership of state president Hangkhanpao Taithul, JDU has completed preparation to send out qualified and deserving candidates in the election and the party is planning to produce 15-20 MLAs, he added.
Ramprit Mandal has lauded the state president for all the work he has done to strengthen the party since the last 8 years. The program was also attended by Hankhanpao Taithul; N Bihari, national council member; Y Dorenkumar, vice president and M Dorendro, chief general secretary as presidium members.
