Letpao Haokip urges for timely release of developmental funds from Jal Shakti

Water Resources Minister Letpao Haokip attended the 3rd Governing body meeting of North Eastern Regional Institute of Water and Land Management (NERIWALM) at Guwahati on September 16 held at Hotel Vivanta.
During the meeting, Letpao Haokip met the Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Sekhawat and urged the Union Minister to release funds in time for the various developmental projects related to Water Resources for Manipur.
The Union Minister gave assurance that the Ministry of Jal Shakti will ensure smooth release of funds always and bringing development to the state has always been a priority from the Centre.
The meeting of NERIWALM was attended by Water Resources Ministers of all the States of the North East region.
