BSF reaches out

A team of 113 Bn BSF led by VLK Vaiphei, Deputy Commandant visited some of BSF widows at their residences in Churachandpur district on the occasion of BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) Day and represented gifts.
A press note issued by Dy Comdt, said that the gifts were presented on behalf of Hidam Shubol Singh, Commandant of 113 Bn BSF to show their love, respect and remembrance to the families of the deceased BSF personnel.
The team visited Moinu, wife of Martyr late Ct Kham Zagou of 83 Bn BSF; Lynda Neihsial, wife of Lalminlun Neihsial of 110 Bn; Ngaimanvung, wife of late SI TM Paite of 156 Bn; Nengkhokai, mother of Late SI Mangzapau of 74 Bn BSF and Chingngaikim, wife of late Ln LK Vaiphei of 95 Bn BSF and noted all the grievances/problems related to pending allowances including benefits, compassionate appointments, arrears, etc for immediate disposal by the Battalion.
The BWWA day was also observed at Battalion HQs with available family members participating in different activities and competitions, it said.
Gifts and prizes were also distributed to the participants, it added.
