IMPHAL, Sep 19: With 234 samples confirmed positive out of 2,912 tested for COVID-19, the positivity rate (TPR) stands at 8 per cent.
A bulletin issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman and Additional Director (Health) Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang informed that a resident of Imphal West who was not vaccinated died due to COVID-19 during the last 24 hours.
The death toll has risen to 1831.
On the other hand, 226 civilians and eight CAPF personnel were tested positive at RIMS (12), JNIMS (28) and other testing Centres (194).
The civilians who have been tested positive are residents of Imphal East (65), Imphal West (93), Thoubal (6), Bishnupur (16), Kakching (2), Ukhrul (3), Churachandpur (9), Chandel (5), Senapati (6), Tamenglong (1), Tengnoupal (1), Kamjong (18) and Kangpokpi (1).
Following recovery, 224 COVID-19 positive people were discharged during the last 24 hours from home isolation (53), RIMS (5), JNIMS (19), CCCs (111) and CHICs (36).
The number of active cases at present is 2,189 (general population 2,129 and Central security personnel 60) while the cumulative number of positive cases has reached 1,18,495 (general population 1,14,256 and Central security personnel 4,239).
This figure includes 1,14,475 recovered cases (general population 1,10,301 and Central security personnel 4,174). The recovery rate as on Sunday is 96.61 per cent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1018 D-type oxygen cylinders and 331 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of the State.
With 18 samples confirmed positive out of 42 samples tested, Kamjong district posted maximum TPR of 42.9 per cent followed by Chandel (12.8 pc), Imphal East (10.9), Imphal West (10.5) and Bishnupur (9.8).   
Taking into account 4825 people vaccinated on September 17, the cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 16,25,805 (1st dose 12,14,099 and 2nd dose 4,11,706).
As enumerated by the COVID-19 Common Control Room, COVID-19 beds available at different health care centres are RIMS (general beds 189; ICU/HDU beds 22), JNIMS (general beds 38; ICU/HDU beds 9), Iland Hospital (general beds 0; ICU/HDU beds 0), Little Flower School (general beds 23; ICU/HDU beds 7), CMC (general beds 27; ICU/HDU beds 6), Iboyaima Hospital (general beds 27; ICU/HDU beds 3),  Jivan Hospital. Kakching (general beds 20; ICU/HDU beds 5), Shija Hospital (general beds 36; ICU/HDU beds 37) and Raj Medicity (general beds 75; ICU/HDU beds 23).
