Many join BJP in Moirang

BISHNUPUR, Sep 20: In a major political development, 20 families from Phubala and Sunusiphai joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Moirang Assembly Constituency on Sunday.
The new supporters of the saffron party were felicitated during a simple function organised by BJP Moirang Mandal at Modi Bhawan, Moirang Phairembam Leikai.
The programme was attended by P Sharatchandra Singh, MLA Moirang AC; Abdul Hamid, president BJP Moirang Mandal; Kh Sharat and T Tombisana Singh as presidium members.
