'CPI will contest against anti-people's representatives in Khurai AC'

The Communist Party of India (CPI), Khurai Local Council has resolved to nominate a candidate in Khurai Assembly Constituency to contest in the upcoming General Assembly election and to fight against the anti people representatives.
The resolution was taken in a general body meeting convened yesterday which was presided by Comrade K Mani in the presence of Party leaders Comrade L Thoiren, Comrade L Sotinkumar and Comrade RK Amusana among others, said a press release issued by CPI, Manipur State Council.
The meeting also resolved to strive earnestly to rectify the ill tactics of the politicians with vested interest and the incumbent Anti Farmer's Government led by Narendra Modi.
During the meeting, the attendees maintained that Khurai AC is largely inhabited by working class people and these people have faith in CPI however such faith and trust have been overshadowed by those individuals with money power thereby sidelining the various developmental works to be taken up in the constituency.
Hence after thorough discussion, the resolution to nominate a candidate of CPI who will spearhead developmental works in Khurai AC and will work selflessly for people's welfare with an aim to defeat anti people representatives.
With an aim to ramp up the activities related with the upcoming election, a new local council was formed and appointed Telem Dinachandra (Herobi) as the secretary who will be in charge of the main responsibilities regarding the election.
