CFA lift title of 1st Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial Futsal tourney

IMPHAL, Sep 28 : Classic Football Academy (CFA) cruised to 1st Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial Futsal tournament title by beating Rising Athletic Union (RAU), Lairikyengbam Leikai 8-2 today in the final.
Y Rohit shone with four goals (5', 38', 39' and 40') in this one sided final encounter to help CFA secure the top honour of the tournament sponsored by Ksh Ongbi Chandralekha Devi and Family.
Gogocha Khuman (2', 26'), Gainingam Malangmei (3') and Y Banty (15') too find their names on the scoresheet for CFA as N Rakesh (27') and Sushil Thapa (30') scored a goal each for RAU.
Winners, CFA were feted with a cash prize of Rs 30,000 with a trophy while runners up RAU received a cash reward of Rs 20,000 and a trophy.
The tournament was organised by the All Manipur Football Association at Poloi Artificial Turf with a total of 13 teams clubbed into four groups taking part in it.
