Veteran polo player M Joy condoled

The Manipuri Pony and Polo Players' Welfare Association (MP&PWA) has expressed deep shock over the passing away of veteran polo player Mongbijam Joychandra @Joy yesterday.
M Joy, a resident of Thangmeiband Lairenhanjaba Leikai, had immensely contributed towards the development of Polo and preservation of Manipuri Pony in the State, recalled MP&PWA in a press release.
The veteran player had actively participated in polo tournaments held in and outside the State and his love and dedication towards the game will be remembered forever and his demise is a great loss to the polo lovers and players' fraternity, it said.
