IMPHAL, Jan 24: The pre-board examination, 2022 conducted by the All Manipur Recognized Private School's Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) is going on successfully across the State.
The examination which was started on January 19 is being participated by more than 250 private schools including a number of schools from Churachandpur, Chandel and Senapati districts.
Representatives of AMRPSWA said this after inspecting the exams conducted at St John's High School in Nambol; Imphal Public School in Canchipur; Success School and Leishemba Maheikol in Chingarel Tejpur today and added that during the inspection, students where found observing SOPs strictly and that the exams were conducted in a fair manner.
Nongthombam Joykumar, controller of the pre-board exam,  said that AMRPSWA had been conducting the pre-board examination since 2005 for the Class X students who are to face the Class X examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur to test their preparedness and work on their weakness.
He added that as the previous batch was promoted without examinations and considering that students getting promoted without testing their preparedness and ability faces a lot of problems in future, the pre-board examination was being conducted despite the pandemic.
Around 10,000 students from more than 250 schools are giving the exam and students of some schools which cannot conduct the physical examination are also being allowed to conduct it in online mode, he added.
