DLSA Imphal West organises painting competition

IMPHAL, Jan 24
District Legal Services Authority, Imphal West under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority conducted a Painting Competition as a part of National Girl Child Day Celebration, today at Nirvana Foundation, Nabalini Astham Children Home for Girls, Ghari Awang Leikai for children from class I to XI of the Children Home.
The program was led by A Guneshwar Sharma, MJS, District and Sessions Judge, Imphal West cum Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Imphal West, Tamenglong and Chandel, accompanied by Smt. Heeralata Moirangthem, MJS, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Imphal West, along with Legal Aid Clinic, Changangei.
The competition was categorized into three groups from, Class I to IV where students were allowed to participate but not included in the competition, and for Class V to VII and Class VII to XI, and the topic was National Girl Child Day and Role of Women in Society, respectively. The competition was participated by around 70 students staying at the same Children Home. Prizes were presented along with recognition certificates.
Items such as hand sanitizer, masks, refreshments and hygiene products were also given to the home.
