Voters' Day

IMPHAL, Jan 24 (PMC): The office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur is gearing up to observe the 12th National Voters’ Day 2022 on January 25, 2022 at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound, Imphal from 10 am onwards.
The day will be celebrated under the theme of ‘Making Elections Inclusive, Accessible, and Participative’.
Chief Secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar will grace the occasion as chief guest while DGP P Doungel, Additional Chief Secretaries, MH Khan, Letkhogin Haokip, P Vaiphei and  Vumlunmang Vualnam will be present as guests of honour.
As a part of the celebration, a photo exhibition on SVEEP Campaign will also be opened by the chief guest.
 The main highlights of the event will consist of administering of National Voters Day pledge, presentation of newly enrolled voters with badges and EPIC, felicitation of SVEEP State icons, launching of video on ethical voting, PwD Video screening on SVEEP campaigns and distribution of various awards.
