Free eye check up camp conducted

IMPHAL, Jan 25
A comprehensive free eye check-up camp was jointly organized by Shija Eye Care Foundation and K Lhangnem Youth Club at K Lhangnem Village, Churachandpur today
In today's camp, 80 patients were examined for eye related problems wherein 8 cataracts, 5 pterygiums, 2 ptosis and 33 refractive errors were diagnosed. Doctors along with other supporting staff of Shija Eye Care Foundation examined the patients, said a press release by the foundation
Those patients detected with eye related problems will be treated under NPCB (NHM)/ CMHT/PMJAY Scheme, added the press release.
