MLA Joykisan joins JD (U) ahead of polls

IMPHAL, Jan 27 : Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykisan has joined Janata Dal (United), today.
During a function held at Keishamthong Hodam Leirak today, JD (U) State unit president Hangkhanpao Taithul accorded a warm welcome to Joykisan with a party shawl.
Later, a proper felicitation ceremony in honour of the Thangmeiband AC MLA was held at Hotel Classic Grande.
 At the event, Kh Joykisan said that he opted to join JD (U) after careful consultation  with Thang-meiband Kendra Development Organisation and the people of his Constituency. Saying that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is a reliable leader, he added that JD (U) is a party  which can fulfil the aspirations of the people.
Further stating he believes in the ideology and vision of JD (U), Joykisan maintained that he joined the party as it has the potential to transform Manipur in a positive way. The MLA added that JD (U) will surely win some seats in the ensuing election.  
JD (U) National president Rajin Ranjan said that the candidates list of the  party will be released shortly after convening a  meeting of its core committee. He said that JD (U) will do its best to bring about a positive change in Manipur. "The party is now prepared to play a crucial role in with the entry of Kh Joykisan," Rajin Ranjan added.
