UMFC, PSWAS triumph in Tbl 3rd Divn League

IMPHAL, Sep 30 : UM FC-Moijing and PSWAS-Sangai- yumpham emerged victorious in today's Group A matches of the ongoing Third Division Football League Tournament organised by DFA Thoubal at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex.
In the first match of the day, UM FC won 2-0 over Salungpham FC (SFC) thanks to goals from Sahir (19') and Mansur Alam (22') for the first win in three matches.
Later in the day, PSWAS cruised to their third straight victory in the tournament with a 4-1 thrashing of CYSA-Khangabok. Zahir Khan shone with a brace (36', 41') in this match as Sahir Alam (35') and Abrar (72') netted a goal apiece after Md Sahid opened the scoring for CYSA in the 33rd minute.
