15th Manipur State League KLASA, SU post identical 2-0 wins

IMPHAL, Oct 1 : Keinou Library and Sports Association (KLASA) and Sagolband United (SU) sealed 2-0 wins against their respective rivals today in 15th Manipur State League Group A matches at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
In the first match of the day, KLASA beat Yarkhok United FC (YUFC) by 2-0 goals for the second win in three matches.
Pangambam Naoba Meitei opened the scoring for the Keinou side in the 18th minute before Ningthoujam Momocha converted a penalty in the 68th minute to make it 2-0.
Later in the day, SU rode on two back to back goals within 7 minutes of the game to clinch a 2-0 win over North Eastern Sporting Union (NESU).
It was Thongam Lenin Singh who opened the scoring in the 6th minute before Chingakham Anandkumar banged in the second goal the very next minute.
SU then held on to their lead till the final whistle for the second win and to extend their unbeaten run to 3 games.
On October 3, SSU-Singjamei will play GSC in a Group B match from 12.30 pm before RAU-Lairik-yengbam Leikai play MA in a Group A match from 2.45 pm.
