‘Who am I?’

‘Who am I?’ A question that prevails in the minds of many of us, not everyday but at odd hours of the twilight when either you are elated or very depressed? ‘Who am I?’ a question so significant that can change your life; or so gross, for if you don’t find an answer, it might haunt you; or so stupid, that it’s really not worth wasting your time over.
And you don’t even know whether these answers which you find are either right or wrong? Because right and wrong is usually decided by what others think is right. And what is right for others, is not necessarily the ultimate truth. Truth for people is what is most comforting for them.
When you are totally broken down, you find yourself shattered in pieces all over the floor, and you don’t have the courage to pick up any of that, and you just feel like so angry that u feel why didn’t they break into an infinite number of pieces that you could never think of joining them back again? It would be an opportunity to start new. But it doesn’t happen that way, you don’t have an option of changing the past, the broken pieces remain the same, and they do carry an answer of ‘Who am I?’
In the grand scheme of things, in the vastness and multitude of these galaxies and solar systems, with so many earths and moons, ‘Who amI?’ No-one! But if you were created by the same vastness and infiniteness, there must be a purpose for your creation.
What’s conceived in the mind is real. There might be times when you doubt yourself-worth more than ever. But ask yourself, is it because you are unworthy or is someone making you feel unworthy? Is this feeling an internal belief or is this an external validation? Ask this question to yourself often and see what answers you can get?
My realization after asking this question of ‘Who am i?’ was that there is no difference between the journey and the destination. Each step you take, you reach somewhere- and that’s a destination and in that step was also a journey. So essentially everything is one, the past, present and future are all just one. The wound, the reality and the wish are all also one. There is no distinction between the truth and untruth; perception and reality; here and there, it’s all one- the matter and energy; the particle and wave; the conscious and subconscious; manifested and unmanifested, everything is unified. So, ‘Who am I?’ I am both the creation and the creator, and there is a power force inside you. If thoughts created destiny then the human thoughts must be therefore an equivalent of god, because who is god- who creates things, but once you recognize that worshiper and lord are the same, we are him and he is us. Then am I god?We all originated from one source, so yes we must have god’s DNA somewhere in us.
The fact is each one of you is a powerful being, a masterpiece, one who is unique. The problem is we forget that we are special. Try to direct your thoughts inwardly and see how your perception about this whole ‘Who am I’ question changes. You will suddenly see you are more than a student, parent, doctor, lawyer, businessman, lazy, happy, beautiful, ugly. You will suddenly realize your power. Ask this to yourself, at least once a day and you will see yourself evolving as a human being. Because this question is the most dynamic question as you change everyday.
