Integrated communication and outreach program with two-day photo exhibition commences at DBHSS, Maram

SENAPATI, Oct 4: The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office: Senapati, Manipur organised an integrated communication and outreach program with two photo exhibition on "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and 8 years of Seva, Sushasan & Garib Kalyan” at held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Maram.
The two-day event commencing from today was graced by graced by HL Jain, MCS, ADM/CEO, ADC, Senapati as the chief guest; Fr KO Sebastian, principal, Don Bosco College, Maram as the guest of honour; Dr Waribam Urmila, Field Publicity Officer, Central Bureau of Communication, Senapati as the functional president; Fr Joseph Pampakal, Rector, DBHSS and Fr Xavier Mattam, vice principal,  DBHSS, Maram as special guests respectively.
The event was reportedly organised jointly together with Regional Outreach Bureau, Imphal, M/S VD Club, Ngarungphung village, M/S Achouba Artist Association, Imphal and M/S United Artists Association, Imphal.
The photos exhibited reportedly focused on the achievements of the central Govt and what they have achieved in the past 8 years. The photo exhibition will reportedly go on for 2 days till October 5.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr KO Sebastian in his speech stated that the program was organised to inform and to reach out to the people regarding the Govt's accomplishments in the past 8 years.
The principal stated that it is the responsibility of the public to measure the effectiveness of such schemes and programs.
The Principal also rued that different developmental programs have not reached the area till date.
He especially pointed out the scarcity of water in the area under Jal Jeevan Mission.
Speaking as the chief guest, HL Jain lauded the Govt calling it the best one as it governs the marginalised and neglected section of the people.
While appreciating the labour of the Fathers of the school, the ADM/CEO lauded them for their contribution in the field of education.
During the later part of the program, Thang-Ta, stick dance, Dhol Cholom, Manipuri folk dance and magic show were presented to the gathering.
