Five test positive

IMPHAL, Oct 5 : At least five persons tested positive for COVID-19 while testing 195 samples in the last 24 hours, registering a single day positivity rate of 2.5 per cent.
The five cases were reported from Imphal East (2), Imphal West (1), Thoubal (1) and Churachandpur (1).
No new cases of Covid death were reported in the period and as such the death toll remains unchanged at 2149.
With this figure, the cumulative number of Covid cases in Manipur has increased to 1,39,823 with 16 active cases.
As per a statement issued by COVID-19 Common Control Room, 508 Covid vaccine doses were administered yesterday.
The bulletin appealed to the people to contact the State helpline number (0385-2410009) for any queries or have any flu or flu-like symptoms.
