'Khori Keithel Kaba' held

IMPHAL, Oct 5: 'Khori Keithel Kaba' ceremony was carried out today at Lamlong Keithel with the objective of safeguarding the dying identity and tradition of indigenous Keithel (market place).
The ceremony was led by seven elderly mothers by carrying out a traditional procession and came to Lamlong Keithel where they purchased edible items from the Keithel after seeking blessings from Keithel Lairembi (deity) for a harmonious and prosperous State.
