World Teachers' Day observed

IMPHAL, Oct 5: World Teachers' Day was observed at Ima Chingjroibi Laibung at Khurai Konsam Leikai today.
The programme was organised by Lions Club of Imphal Galaxy and Thaba Foundation, Khurai Konsam Leikai.
Lions Club of Imphal Galaxy president, L Ibohanbi; Thaba Foundation president, Laitonjam Thaba; Lions Club Zone Chairperson, N Kunjeshore and former principal of Pettigrew College, Kh Ibohanbi graced the occasion as the presidium members. During the World Teachers' Day observation, former Head of Department of Medicine, RIMS, Professor S Bheigyabati; teacher of Sagolmang Higher Secondary School, Laishram Raichandra Meetei and Assistant Professor of NB College, Dr Konsam Surchandra were honoured.
