IMPHAL, Oct 4 : Ms Sophia Sahania, d/o of Md Anawar Ali of Irong Chasaba in Thoubal district represented the State in paying homage to the National leaders at Parliament House on October 2 as a part of ‘Participation of Youth of our country in paying homage to our National Leaders on their birth anniversary in the Parliament House’ organised jointly by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
She was selected to represent the State after winning the State level National Youth Parliament 2022 organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Manipur in February 2022 and she was also the district level winner from Thoubal organised by NYK Thoubal, said a press release issued by NYK Thoubal today.
Sophia Sahania is a dynamic youth leader taking active part in many activities of NYK. She was also one of the winners of Declamation Contest organised by NYK Thoubal in December 2021, added the press release.
