Befitting tribute paid to Comrade Moirangthem Ibohal

A State level condolence meeting was held today at Irabot Bhawan today to mourn the demise of eminent leader Comrade Moirangthem Ibohal popularly called as 'MI' who passed away on October 3.
The condolence meeting was organised by Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI).
The attendees paid befitting tributes to the photo of the departed leader who was a close associate of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot followed by lectures on the life history of the leader and his numerous contributions for the development of the society, said a press release by MSC/CPI.
Comrade Langol Iboyaima; Comrade L Thoiren; Comrade Thokchom Yaiskul and Comrade G Tomba Sharma attended  as the presidium members of the programme.
The attendees recounted and hailed the dedicated efforts of Late Comrade Moirangthem Ibohal who strove earnestly for the welfare of the suppressed and working class people.
A summary of the life history of the departed leader was also presented during the programme.
As a mark of respect, the attendees observed two minute silence and prayed for the peace of the departed soul and raised the slogan 'Red Salute to MI' in unison.
