NONEY, Oct 5 : As celebrated across the globe, Durga Puja Festival Committee Noney celebrated the Durga Puja festival at Longmai Bazar Community Hall with pomp and show.
On the final day of the festival, hundreds of people came to participate in the festival today and carried the Durga Puja idols across Longmai Bazar singing & dancing.
Later, the Durga Puja idols were immersed at Ijei River to mark the end of the festival.
The Durga Puja Festival Committee Noney has expressed its appreciation to the Longmai Bazar Board and Village Administration for their assistance in the successful conduct of the festival.
