ADC Chandel Trophy 1st Divn League Phamtungam's last-gasp goal gives Lambung YCC 3-2 win over Khongjon YC

IMPHAL, Oct 5 : Phamtungam scored thrice including a last gasp goal to earn Lambung YCC a 3-2 win over Khongjon YC as Ziontlang SYC rallied back to salvage a 4-4 draw with Chandel Khullen YC in the ongoing ADC Chandel Trophy First Division League at Liwa Sarei Ground.
In the tourney's third match, Chandel Khullen YC took a 2-1 first half lead thanks to goals from Kowarsing (25') and Aarson (33') as Darkhuk scored the opener for Ziontlang SYC in the 38th minute.
After the break, Aarson completed his second in the 41st minute but Ziontlang clawed back with Malkung's goal in the 43rd minute to make it 3-2. Thangta made it 4-2 for Chandel Khullen YC with a fine strike in the 69th minute but Ziontlang SYC fought back bravely and scored two goals back to back in the 71st and the 76th minutes to make it 4-4 at the end.
Later in the day, Kenphasana's brace (8', 9') went in vain as Phamtungam scored twice in the opening half and completed his hat-trick in the second half (18', 28', 80+2') to hand Lambung YCC a 3-2 comeback win.
